DAY FIFTEEN: CREATIVITY

Making Something From Nothing

Creativity has always been a form of possibility.

When opportunity was limited, Black communities created their own paths through innovation, design, and imagination.

Creation was often born from necessity. From self-built schools and businesses to cultural innovations that reshaped music, food, technology, and industry, Black creators imagined solutions where none were provided.

Creation has always been an act of belief. When systems failed to provide access, Black makers, builders, and thinkers envisioned what did not yet exist… and then built it.
